Lochinvar Play Area – Update

The Parish Council would like to re-assure the community that they are in the process of finalising details for the upgrading of the Lochinvar Play Area. Contrary to what has been mentioned on social media they are looking at a MUGA, upgrading facilities and introducing accessible play equipment for the disabled.

The Parish Council are aware of the frustrations that the community have, however, play equipment is very expensive and gathering quotes and installation does take time. Please be assured that the Parish Council is committed to sort this as soon as possible and that this is an agenda item on the next Parish Council meeting.

A further phase will be working with Borderlands to expand the facilities.

We are disappointed to hear / learn of mindless vandalism that has taken place, and we shall be reporting this to the Police along with any future vandalism that may take place.
